Striker Charlie Walker joined The Sports in June 2018. He hails from Sussex and began playing senior football with Shoreham, before moving onto Lancing, helping them to finish 2nd in the Sussex County League. He then moved to then-Isthmian Premier League side Whitehawk, before continuing to move eastwards to join Peacehaven & Telscombe, becoming a crucial part of the side which won the Isthmian Division One South title and the Sussex Senior Cup in the 13/14 season, a season in which Walker scored 43 goals, which attracted attention of Football League clubs and he ended up signing with then-League Two side Luton Town in Summer 2014. Charlie make 6 appearances with The Hatters before joining Boreham Wood on loan for the remainder of the 14/15 season, where he finished the season playing in the Conference South playoff final against a former side in Whitehawk. Along with The Wood, Walker played National League football the next season, signing for Aldershot Town where in 2 seasons he made 59 appearances, scoring 17 goals. After leaving The Shots by mutual consent in January 2017, he signed for St Albans City on a year and a half contract. Charlie made 67 appearances with The Saints, scoring 16 goals before leaving in the Summer.
