The Whites Win By Clear 3, But Not The Full Story
3 unanswered goals gave Dover Athletic all 3 points at Priory Lane, but the result did not necessarily reflect the game or Boro's performance.
May chipped wide but the home side again had the better chances , Anwar Uddins effort deflected wide and Remy's excellent effort just wide.
Tommy Widdrington introduced Chris Shephard at half time and the midfielder began to have a big influence on the game. For 5 minutes it was all one way but as Ben May looked to take the ball around Jordan contact between him and the keeper saw a penalty awarded, which the striker converted for 2-0.
Kezie Ibe, starting on the bench, replaced Kight and despite the side working hard to pull a goal back Calum Willock raced clear on a quick break and slipped the ball wide of Jordan for 3-0.
Boro continued to threaten, but Dover continued to play quick and accurate football, Mithells goal occasionally threatened, but the game ended with the expensively acquired quality within the visitors lineup able to take advantage of the 'luck' when presented.
