Two In On Loan For New Year

By Lee Peskett

Jamie Howell has made 2 loan signings as 2018 winds to a close and 2019 arrives .....

The Sports are delighted to welcome Sam Howes and Joe Quigley to The Lane on loan.

Goalkeeper Sam Howes arrives at Priory Lane having joined Watford from West Ham United in 2017 and immediately went on loan to Hampton & Richmond Borough, spending the first half of the 2017/18 season in the Vanarama National League South. During his time in East London, Howes was named Young Hammer of the Year at the age of 16, and he has represented England at every international youth level from Under-16 to Under-19.

Also moving on loan is Joe Quigley. Joe is an English-born Irish forward and he arrives from Bromley. He has previous experience at Bournemouth, and has played in the English Football League on loan at Gillingham and Newport County, and has also had a spell at Maidstone United.

Welcome Sam and Joe - we hope you enjoy your time at Boro - and we thank both Watford and Bromley for allowing the loans.
