Management Implement Training Changes

As Tommy Widdrington and Alan Kimble plan for their first full season at Priory Lane the club can advise supporters that the squad training times will change this year.

The Boro Management team will work with the players on Monday and Friday mornings. This will allow the management, medical staff and squad to have longer together than the current Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions, and also cover the 'lost' training sessions when games are scheduled for Tuesday evenings. The intention is to use the Priory Lane pitches for the sessions but there is also the scope for different locations and session types to be employed introducing flexibility and variation as appropriate.

Boro boss Widdrington commented "This approach has been in my plans for some time and all conversations with players have been based on this training schedule. It's fair to say that there has been very little opposition or issues raised with me, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from all concerned."
