Eastbourne Borough Development Centre Closes 1st Season With Notable Success

5 years ago By Lee Peskett

EBFC DC inaugural year has proved an immense success attracting and developing talented young players from across Sussex.

All of the players have worked extremely hard with many showing great potential for the future.

Development Centre coaches Ollie Rowe, Simon Johnson, Lee Peskett and Nick Redman have coached the players to a very high standard, working on many aspects of the game and have introduced 11-a-side tactical elements such as phases of play and functional practices,
Under 18's coach Ian Cooke has cast his eye over the centre and has identified two of next seasons under 16's that he has invited to take part in under 18's trials this week. As well as identifying some of the younger players that he will be keeping an eye on for the future.
Two players at U13 and U15 have both signed contracts with Football League Div 1 Crawley Town. Both players have showed great aptitude at the Development Centre and for Eastbourne Borough Youth FC who they both played for.
We wish all 4 players every success for the future.
Eastbourne Borough Development Centre will be re-opening on Monday, 10th September and is looking to strengthen squads from U11 to U16. Please register your interest to trial on Alternatively contact Centre Manager, Nick Ducatel on 07722070168
