Darren Lok Rewarded With Priory Lane Contract

Eastbourne Borough's young match winner from Saturday has agreed a contract for the remainder of the 2012/2013 season.

Boro boss Tommy Widdrington was keen to separate this news from the late strike on Saturday afternoon .v. Basingstoke. "We agreed this deal prior to Saturdays game" said Widdrington. "Darren is a great example of a young player who has shown in pre season and up to now through the league campaign all the attributes required to contribue to our season and indeed to develop further. It is important that young players at Priory Lane can see a route through the clubs structure ultimately to the 1st XI squad and a contract. Darren is the latest to have followed that path and we are delighted to have him on board."
