Lee Bradbury has been very busy since taking the reigns on the South Coast in May, and Saturday gives him the opportunity to see the squad he has built take to the field for the first time.
Wessex League opponents Lymington Town will be out to cause an upset, but Borough supporters will be hoping to see a strong performance as Bradbury takes charge for the first time in this pre-season friendly.
And the Borough boss is hoping for a good performance from his side.
"It's an opportunity for this new group of players to show us what they can do in a proper game," he said.
"We will be looking at different tactics across the pre-season programme, as we look to find the right formation and style of play to fit the squad we have put together.
"As soon as we find the right balance in play, we will then have something to build on ahead of what promises to be an exciting season."
Saturday sees Borough supporters having the opportunity to see a few new and familiar faces at the Lane, with the return of Elliott Romain, Greg Luer and Kiran Khinda-John to the ranks and the addition of the likes of Nick Wheeler, Tom Hadler and James Ferry.
"It will be good for the supporters to have a look at the new faces we have brought in," continued Bradbury.
"It gives them the chance to have a look at what we are looking to do moving forward, and hopefully we will put on a good performance for them."
Kick off is at 3pm at Priory Lane on Saturday (July 13).
