A short journey into the unknown faces Eastbourne Borough this Saturady.

For the first time in 13 years, Eastbourne Borough will line up this Saturday for a league match without manager Gary Wilson and coach Nick Greenwood with skipper Ben Austin has taken over first team duties until a new staff are appointed.

Austin’s first line of duty will be to rally the troops and head them to Kent, where they will take on Tonbridge Angels.
Both sides are in a run of poor form with neither winning in their last five games. Borough find themselves just six points clear of the Blue Square South relegation zone where a win would take them within one point of Tonbridge who sit in 10th position.
One of Borough’s longest serving players, Ben Austin must now assume the role of caretaker manager and attempt to steer the side up the league.
Despite Tonbridge’s indifferent home form this season; The Sports will have to be aware of the home team’s top goal scorer if they are to return with any points. Frannie Colin has scored a third of the entire squad’s goals this season, reaching the milestone of 15 already.
