Alex Smith - Update

3 months ago By Lee Peskett

The club would like to inform Boro fans on the situation re: popular winger/defender Alex Smith .....

..... following his injury on Tuesday evening.

Alex was kept in overnight in The Royal Sussex Hospital as swelling on his knee was too severe for relevant imaging/scans to be made. These are now In Progress / due soon and updates will provided when known / advised.

Once again It's important we mention the speedy assistance James Swinford - the Boro Physio provided him initially and thanks also to the Whitehawk medical staff and then the paramedics to whom we are also grateful.

The club and manager Tommy Widdrington have spoken to Alex and have told him to stay in touch.
